Taking It to Extremes

sustainable dog houseI love gadgets. I follow several gadget blogs waiting to see what new piece of technology is going to change my life for the better.  But alas, to date, there is no flying car.  I really don’t think many of these items of convenience really change my life too dramatically.

Working with the US Green Building Council and trying to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle and business practice, I keep a sharp eye out for new “green” technology. The last few years there has been a healthy outcropping of green-washed technology.  Most of it, like the other gadgets in my life, doesn’t really amount to making that big of a difference.  Sure, there are modest improvements in solar panel technology each year, but they still don’t make this adaptation affordable to the masses.

With all that being said, I bring you the White Goat.  This revolutionary machine will take your recycled paper and in just 30 minutes give you a new roll of toilet paper.  Don’t take my word for it; please watch the video to see for yourself.  For a mere $100,000 you can make your own toilet paper at home.  Think of the endless revenue stream from all those printed out emails.
